boost, do you have xp home or pro? If you have home, you need to ditch it for pro.

the only deferance in home and pro is the pro is more secure.. but if its on a laptop that your using for non enternet.. then there is no problem.

the difference is that with pro, he won't get that shitty message. I am using pro on my laptop and my desktop, same ce key, never a problem. WIth pro, since it is more for corporations, they can't really detect that you have a bootleg copy, or some ---- like that, i forgot exactly. Nonetheless, it's been 4 years using pro, never had that threat that boost has.

can't you only register a key once on winxp without having to call them?

unless you have one of those keys for a company or something. pm me it so i can register my laptop. ;D
