Let me think about this for a second. A Raptor700 puts down 42-46hp stock and weighs 396lbs. My 250 2-stroke 38hp and 328lbs. These 250's have been taken up to 330cc and put down mid 50's. We all know that whole power to weight deal so...

.113 hp/lb for the big fat 700 and
.115 hp/lb for my ----- little 250

Sure the thumper may make a little more torque but I compromise with gearing. Never underestimate a 2-stroke and saying a 250 or smaller is ----- well, come take mine for a ride :P I have raced my buddies raptor700 and its about dead even up until 5th gear where he pulls. But in the trails I zip right by.

stock for stock there is no two stroke quad that can beat the rapt700. lt500 is close

modified is a different story.

there is a turbo kit for the rapt 700. all stock engine, 7psi. pretty small turbo. 97hp 113ft-lbs at the wheels i believe

turbo raptor vs stro[br]
