i have an old Z also but im using the rb20det...all rb26 internals fit int the rb 20 which is like buying forged internals almost...and also you dont have to buy a single turbo conversion..you already have it...better yet you can buy 4 rb20's for the price of 1 rb26 :y....it works out better that way 1200 for the engine and the other couple g's go into it...check out hybridz.org they'd love you their

im already in a shitty class (ITE) with a bunch of vetts and 911's
The car already has a bunch of crazy suspention mods with Wolwoods all the arround. So i got the suspention and the breaks I just needed the Engine. I m running a Rb25 trans witch should hold up to the power and there a dime a dozen so if ti blows up I dont care il just buy antother one. Im running twin hks gt2530's so lag wont be an issue. |

the 2530s are insane on the rb26. a buddy of mine sent his to JUN to have reworked, the car is insane. dont push it over about 450hp or the tranny will go kapooh.
i would have put the money into a driving school. |

It's not about who can afford what on here .. it's how you build a turbo kit using either home made or cheap parts.If you don't know that by now , you have severe problems |

Seems like you have a pretty set goal. The 26 is abotu the only skyline motor worth a ----. I would highly recommend thinking about or building a tranny. -also a OS clutch is a prime choice. if you need any parts, LMK. |
