is it rational to put an intercooler on a car that doesnt have a turbo or supercharger??

lol..the air cooling the intercooler would be just as cold as the air in it already...no benefit

..also, on an N/A setup, speed of the air flowing into the intake manifold is a factor. You want nice smooth bends, and controlled flow.

An intercooler will actually upset the flow, and do more harm than good.

In boost, the air is compressed and actually fills the pipes between the turbo and the intake manfold, so "flow" really isn't as important. Unless you're hardcore.. which by all means, have at it.

That is the most rational thing I've heard this whole week. Dude, if you did that, people would see it and be scared of you. You would be "the Man."
OK, maybe it isn't that rational, but its a whole lot more rational than the plastic IC from VIS. But either way, it's probably original :D

IMO opinion.... thats complete rice dude... wouldnt do shizzle and would probably give you horrible throttle response.
