Default Rain-X

Anyone ever use rain-x ? I was in walmart and saw a display and picked some up. I just got done putting it on, the glass feels much smoother not. I'm going to drive home to PA around friday and it looks like it's going to rain the entire time again. I guess I'll see how well it works than, but just wondering if the ---- actually helps any. Also does it last long or does it wear off after a bit of using the wipers ?

you dont need to use the wipers if you do it right, but it wares off and you need to keep doing it. If you don't there's this faze where water will just make huge sheets on your glass, its weird.

it works, I can drive in heavy rain with my wipers set to the slowest setting, and it still stays clear, also reduce fogging.

There is a wiper fluid that you can get, I got mine at Auto Zone, that has Rain-X in it. Works GREAT!

I agree but it's definatly the best wiper fluid I've ever used! It works about 80% as well as pure Rain-X and you just push a button once in a while to put on a new coat.

I used to drive truck over the road and I ALWAYS had a bottle of it with me!

Only thing annoying about the washer fluid is the dirty areas of your window STAY dirty, since rainx is everywhere and rain will not make the dirt come off... but it does rock.

rain x is the ---- if you apply it properly and generously, just do small small circles with it until the glass is all the way covered, you literally won't have to turn your blades on in a downpour if you take the time to do it right
