Re: Radio DJ? Who was it?

My good friend from home has been playing for a few years now, he was alrite, nothing special, your normal garage band style. Lately he has gotten very good , atleast myself and everyone i have shown his new tracks too thinks so. I just want someone who is a DJ or something, someone who knows alot about music potential etc. to take a listen for me and give an honost opinion. He is a merchant marine (ex navy) so rite now he is on a oil rig doing the alaska to anacortes,wa trip for a few months.

im really not your guy, buddy.

im a producer for radio broadcasts of games and call in shows at a local station.....

id still be more than happy to listen, but the station doesnt play any of their own music....they get all of their play lists from a central hub that sends the music over a direct line.

I've been playing for about 10 years and listen to a little of everything, I'm pretty much obsessed with music. I'll take a listen but you will get an honest opinion even if it sucks. Send me a link or something

Then why would you ask a radio DJ? Have you heard the radio lately? Special Ed is a college town white guy who plays top 40 and Beyonce. IMO, there's 3 levels of music

-Radio rockstars= Music sucks
-Good music= unsuccessful
-Good music played on the radio= the next album will suck.

He lures fat girls into his trailer with cake, thus he's known as DJ.

Spinnin cakes on your ass bitch.

getting radio play is a tricky game. but not really a success these days. you pretty much have to have made it to get radio play. making it in music depends how much you want to ----- yourself out for free and how much you want to kill your music when you "make it".

Not necessarily trying to get "radio play" just trying to get opinions. How can i host 6 mp3's? Where?

I believe we have the perfect translation between a hardcore mu-fukka and someone who gets payed to play happy behind a microphone. Thank you.
