Im not planning on racing, but Id love to go watch.
Just finished a nice street/dyno tune today on a local guys car. Kinda wanna see what it runs. 350ish whp, 270ish-TQ, EG hatch. Should move nicely.

It will also be a special treat to watch Johnny step the ass out off the line :)

Its too bad I'm out of town this weekend, or I'd deffinately show up, meet some of you fuckers, and make a few passes down the track in the process Oh well, deffinately next time :y

Re: racing sunday at pacific?

Jeff will not want to race if its not faster than mid 12ish. On second thought, I think a thorough beating of the A6-Wheeze will help relieve some frustration......

Re: racing sunday at pacific?

pacific is notoriously lax on their inspections right?

cause my battery is in my trunk, and my cutoff switch isnt hooked up and my battery box is for a boat

i've heard they are mostly in the evenings. if you get there right when it starts your more likely to get stopped for ----. at high school drags they let me run with 1 wheel missing a lug, i have a fat crack in my windshield, and something like i was missing the rear motor mount.. wtf? i only had to fix the battery tie down, and the guy told me how there was a lot of ppl walking around with 1 shoelace lol- luckily i had some wire in the back :8

there was a big post about the 2006 NHRA rule changes.. all cars that are non-oem turbo charged required some fireproof racing jacket that started at $50 on summitracing, and a helmet if you run under 14 seconds.. i ran 14.4 N/A so i'd need that too. ghey
