Re-read what he wrote and you might understand the jist of it. A 300 hp camaro versus a 300 hp civic, over time, the civic will fail way before the camaro will. More strain on the engine, it shouldn't come as a surprise.

Like how do you do it? You just wait for someone to mention ANYTHING about a v8 powered car in anyway and you just zoom in to correct everyone and point out how stupid all these ricers are for ever thinging that a v8 is worse than a 4 banger for (Insert any reason here). You do this by making all kinds of claims and sources adn distracting points away from this topic or making a particular topic seem way more than what it really is but you are the fir4st one to call someone else a ricer or clown because they say "I bet car x" I just love it. You sir make HMT an entertaining place.

gears/headers/exhaust foxbody is almost 2 seconds slower in the 1/4 than a stock ls1 camaro.
thats a fact, unless the "mods" to the camaro were four flat tires...

What I don't understand is how some people will just bash and hate on another's car simply b/c of the make. It just doesn't make sense. If you have a fast car, then you have a fast car. It doesn't matter if it's stock, modded, or whatever. In the case of the video, this was just some kid in a mustang that put down 537rwhp on a dynojet, and was going around town telling EVERYONE that he had the fastest car in the city.
V's civic put down 298.5whp on a Dynamics dyno (typically reads about 12% or so lower) on 13.5psi. The first race was on 6psi just to see how he would do against Kyle (Mustang owner). As you can see, they were basically side by side with the civic about a bumper ahead. The second race was on 9.5psi, and as you can see the race was a little different. The civic was pulling VERY hard and the mustang didn't stand a chance. Keep in mind that the mustang was also on BFG drag radial that night and the civic was on shitty khumos. Either way, the guy in the mustang seemed pretty cool and gave props to the civic as well as the crx (race is on another video I have), and we gave the same love back for making his numbers with a basically stock cobra minus bolt-ons. So it's all in good fun!
Props to JD for street tuning the car, and some fun times (ie pranking Mase).
