I'm sure you can boost more than the stock 6psi. You could probably just add an FMU or afc, and an mbc and make it fast for relatively nothing. And if you blow it, you still have warranty

Ya I beta one in my stock auto 96 maxima. From a 40 roll, I had about 1 1/2 cars by 80 mph. Wait till I get this big *** t3/t4 with stage 5 wheel on.

My friend had one and he turned up the boost and it threw a rod. Those motors are junk.

How high did he go? I have not seen one with work done yet, so I can't say much.

He turned it up 4 psi over stock, whatever stock is... I guess it is 6.5? so 10.5. And that is on an inefficient T25, so... Junk It's funny though, I am pretty sure he got it fixed under warranty.

those engines are stock n/a engines with just the turbo and ecu upgrade, no forged internals, just cast stock pistons, they run 9:1 compression, i have heard of alot of people upping the boost and trhowing or bending rods. cheapo mazda must have had alot of protege engines lying around and the thought. hmmm, we can just turbo these engines and put them i a mazdaspeed protege..I bet it was fords idea.
