Quick Ricer Question...
I have a 98 Civic Coupe and I want a front lip, but I know that 99-00 front bumpers are slightly different from 96-98. I was curious if the 99-00 would fit on my 98?

Re: Quick Ricer Question...
why don't you just buy the lip for the 96-98?

They aren't as popular or as easy to come by. I won't pay what eGay wants for those pieces of unpainted moldings, haha. I was hoping to cop a used Si lip for dirt cheap. ;) ;D JP |

A used Si lip would probably still go for more then what a eBay lip goes for. They just rape you on shipping is the only thing. I'd say go HMT style and go to the junkyard and find a lip that would look like it would fit and MAKE it fit.

When I had my 96 I bought Type ARRgh replica lips, front and rear, off ebay and they fit perfect. They were cheap at the time.

You can get them for 96-98, but I'm curious if the stock 99-00 ones will work. I found one on H-T that Dan posted for me for like $20 but he's not down to ship so God willing he stops being a bum and ships the piece of plastic. :y You don't have to make any holes in your bumper do you? It just bolts where the under skirting usually does or would before all of us ripped it off, right? JP |
Re: Quick Ricer Question...
Yes I had to drill holes. Im not sure if the 99-00 are the same.

bumpers are totally different, the 99-00 lip wont work. the bottom of the bumpers have a very different shape
