Re: quick crx questions.. no spark :(

car was running fine till i pulled into the driveway hard and the car turned off.. wouldnt turn over.. popped that hood saw that the starter ground was off.. put it in and it started turning over but wouldnt turn on.. just checked it now with my sister (shes gone now so i cant test again.. i dont have anyone else to help me) and theres no spark going to any of the plugs.. i can hold it by the tip and she cranks the car over and i dont get shocked... ------- lame :(

so far ive checked all the fuses.. assuming when the starter ground came off it fucked some fuses? but none are blown.. lame;

It's not going to shock you if you just hold it, you need to have the plug near a ground for it to spark.

i touched it to the top part of the aluminum valve cover inside where the sparkplug drops in and it still didnt spark?

Dude is your driveway kind of a hill that you have to go up because sounds like some fucked up wiring or loose wire that moves and causes problems. Just a guess from my quick read

thats why i said how it died.. i hit the driveway pretty hard and sharp.. now im trying to figure out what wiring might have come off to cause no spark..

i checked it all.. saw nothing obvious..

check all grounds. thermostat ground, etc etc. take all of them off and clean them up with a wire wheel.
