dsms are also 7.8-8.5 compression and they do blow if not tuned right, as with any motor. Although the vitara pistons sound like a decent idea, it is still a BETTER idea to get real forged ---- in a compression ratio you actually want. Sure you can toss 20 psi at them, but you would be making more power at less boost with a better comp. ratio.

I agree with you 100%. I'm just pretty broke these days, so I'm trying to do what I can with the least amount of money possible. I hate asking the parents to lend me money for stupid ----.

The vitara's produce an 8.5:1 compression ratio on the z6 w/ the z6 gasket, and 8.9:1 with the y8 gasket (I got the y8 gasket)
