Question For Tool Enthusiast's 56k* Stay away

I just got my Toolbox from school.. All snapon, very nice, Brand Spankin New.
Question is.. How much do you think I could get out of these on Ebay..
I don't really want to part it out.. was thinking of selling here, but since I have
no vouches, probably won't go over very well.. tell me what you think.

thats a really nice tool set. when i worked at an auto place, the snap on man said that they didnt have alot of resale value. i also believe its snap on that has the lifetime warranty on the tools, but they charge the customer the "wholesale" list price or something like that to fix them :(

Yea, there is a guy that hangs out about a block away from the school that pays 350.00 cash for them.
I think I could get more out of them considering the ratchet and ext. go for 70.00 on ebay.

I take more tools than that to the junkyard. I'd give you $200 for everything minus the box... my roommate needs his own tools

Motorcycle Mechanic's Institute is located in Phoenix, AZ, there is also another campus in FL.
The school is ok, its a little overpriced, and you have to move to a good part of the nation to make any money. The techs around here only make 8/hr which i think is ------- retarded. Overall, MMI will teach you what you want to know if your willing to learn it, and you can stand living in phx. :-X

Re: Question For Tool Enthusiast's 56k* Stay away

I hope people that get out of that school don't seriously make 8/hr. because why the ---- would anyone spend a dime to make 8 dolllars an hour.

well when there are 300+ students graduating every 6 weeks, if someone doesnt take it, somebody else will..
Its the same way with all the automotive schools around here. 12/hr as a lot tech? thats pretty good..
I'm hoping for around 15-20+ flat rate in wa. state.. thats if I go the dealership route.
