I cant believe your only hold back is loyalty.. ya they really stepped up w/ the relocation costs and bigger raise huh.

no offence, the only reason you are still with them is because no1 else can do what you're doing. when they dont need you, bye bye.

move now while you got a good offer.

dont quit your old job just yet. if you do start the second job, make sure to use up your vacation time and sick time starting the same day as your new job. try out the new job for two weeks, if you like it quit and if not go back toyour old job. ehh or just take thenew job and stop crying, every job is going to have its share of problems..

Survival is of prime importance. Both self preservation and family depend on a steady income. GTFO while you have an opportunity to do so... Cut the emotional baggage to your old employer, and look forward to the future man...

----, I work for Microsoft... I love it here... Either people like it here or they hate it, and get burnt out.

Change is good for us as humans... especially when opportunity appears in times of need.... TAKE THE NEW JOB!!!!

this man knows what's up. definitely use all that paid time off, and feel out the other job. it seems like a better place.

Yeah, you can do way better, you dont owe the company anything, so jump ship, dont get all sentimental. Just leave, dont burn bridges but get the better job. Just remember, the company is not loyal to you, and you do not have to stay there. I see people all the time that are a slave to their company, dont become one. Just remember, opportunities are taken, not handed out. Even if this job sucks, im sure you could find another in no time. If you were truly happy with the way things were going at your job now, you wouldnt even be considering this.

to add to my earlier comments. The fact that this current company has a head office would worry me. To head office you are nothing more than a id# w/ a salary. If they can find a way to cut that in the midst of this hardship they will.
