Hey I picked up a VCN-1000 kit at a pretty good price. The problem is the kit was not built for my car (b18 swapped CRX). The kit was originally for a 99-00 mustang V8.

The differences are :

The injector harness has clips for 8 injectors. Obviously I dont need all of them. Could I possibly just leave 4 unplugged?, or is there a way to modify the harness to make it work with a 4 cylinder?

Second, the VCN control module was programmed for the TPS and O2 sensor for the mustang. Now I know that most O2 sensors only read 0-1 volts, so that shoud have no effect. I am worried about the TPS.Does anyone know what kind of voltage the mustang TPS sends out? Is it that much different from a honda? And, if it is different, could I possiblly wire some resistors or capacitors inline to change signal to make it work?

since you want any and all advice, here is my two cents. I wouldn't buy anything by venom, because tey sell garbage products, whihc are a scam. I'm talking about their control module, which all it does is change the tps voltage.

The VCN-1000 is a nitrous kit. Im trying to figure out a way to get it to work without having to send it back Venom to have them reprogram the control module.

Could I maybe run the nitrous without the control module? Im thinking I can rig up my own TPS activated switch.

Then maybe have it tuned with uberdata (the engine is actually OBD 1, I backdated OBD to get it up and running, until I can get an OBD 0-OBD 1 conversion harness) for fuel management.

ive worked with a NOS kit, NX kit and the venom kit. The venom kit is by far the most POS kit there is. We just tossed the control module and ran straight solenoids on it. Your kit should have cam with software to make it work for your car. I would just goto the local speed shop and invest in some solenoids
