Just got a question ...
the D15Z6

I am i right in thinking the engine uses the D15 block
and the z6 head ....
what about the rods ? any aftermarket ones..?

im thinikng you made that engine code up because there aint to d15z6 there is a d16z6 with came out of 92-95 civic si/ex's but you are talking about the mini swap. where you swap the head around. and there shouldent be after market internals seeing as how he did a mini-me swap wich is the cheap way to get vtec.

Haha, open mouth insert foot jackass. d15z6 definitely is a real motor.

However, I don't know ---- about it, therefore I'll keep my mouth closed unlike 2poor2tune :y

I couldn't find much info on the motor. Some sites say 3-stage vtec which is the reason for the higher hp. Can you take a pic of the vtec solenoid(s). I couldn't find info on rod length,journal, or bore sizes.
