hey im tryin to help my buddy hook up his cd player on his '91 mr2 and it says you have to find the external amplifier and unplug the harness from there..does anyone know where the amplifier is located?? we've already pulled out the old radio and looked all behind that stuff but i have no clue what im even looking for..any help would be great..thanks

Any time you need something, Look for a BGB online. Its the factory service manual.

I`ve put on a cd-player on 2 mr2 (turbo and non turbo) and none of them has a factory amp. But the turbo one does have a factory built in phone tho
