Re: quad turbo 4cyl

looks kinda dumb

1 external wastegate? it would probably make more sense to have each turbo have their own exhaust pipe and run internal wastegates.. having all cylinders come together into a collector, then going back out to each turbo.. doesn't sound right

FastLS 01-14-2006 11:04 PM

Re: quad turbo 4cyl

They look too big to be GT15's.

I think that setup gets mad cool points... which is most likely the only reason it was built :y

Re: quad turbo 4cyl

that looks unusual. it seems like everyone wants to be the first to do something different lately. i don't care so much about that... i just want to do it myself and be satisfied with what i've done.

Re: quad turbo 4cyl

Re: quad turbo 4cyl

omg quad turbos + itb's +4 individual intercooelrs and charge pipes = 4 blow off valves and 4 boost guages!!

d16forlife 01-15-2006 11:07 AM

Re: quad turbo 4cyl

Even though that engive is boosted its being dome with verry hot air wich kind of defeats the purpose.Presureizing an engine with hot air is redundant IMO :-\

Re: quad turbo 4cyl

^^^ I was wondering if there was a liquid to air intercooler under the top :1

looks like the piping ends at that blue coupler and could go to an intercooler
