yea i doubt it was a ford prototype too, my highschool used to have a solar car team, we were sponsered by chevy and actually did pretty good in our geo metro. it had a motor out of a NYC subway in it and weighed 3500 lbs with all the batteries. We placed 2nd overall in the 2005 tour de sol, the national government sponsored alternative fuel race. Our highschool beat out every university and companies like lockheed martin and boeing, we were a pretty big deal for like a year then a flood killed our car and all our ----

True story. But can't say that I didn't try. I actually had the motor running in the car so it was a lesson learned. i had the fucker torn out and put back in 3 times.
