My mother pulled that ---- on my last weekend. I simply said, the war is bullshit, and she called me ungrateful and that I should feel bad for saying that when there are people over there risking their lives. I have no ------- disrespect for them being there, I just don't agree with the war. ----, I probably have more respect for being there risking their lives for a dumbass president and shitty cause. Oh well, she's a government worker who loves McCain and Bush, I shouldn't expect any different. We disagree on drugs, politics, religion, and basically everything else. No wonder I happily moved out at the age of 17.

Right, but when they inttroduce a bill that increases benefits for vets and actually does help the troops it gets veto'd because it costs too much, those ------ liberals and their "pork barrel" projects.....

Thats when you ask her to explain WHY they are over there and WHY they can't come home tommorrow, I can guarantee its not because they enjoy the ------- weather over there. My grandpa is the same way, he just goes on about the terrorists and "look what happened when we left Vietnam" like we should have stayed there or something, meanwhile my cousin (who just got back from Iraq) just laughs at him.

I've asked, she says because we are freeing those poor iraqis and destroying the terrorists You know, everything Faux News tells her. It's amazing people believe we're actually over there to "free" the iraqis and "promote (force) democracy." If the gov't truly wanted to help people, they could have done much better spending the $1 trillion (that they don't really have) at home.

Other than Vietnam, what war have we spent money on that didn't benefit us in some way?

Yeah BUT what? My statement of fact was that everybody was getting fucked by this war. Add your complaint about the treatment of vets, who are used as pawns both physically and emotionally, to my everybody and keep your buts and your liberal vs conservative agenda to your goddamn self as BOTH extremes are ------- wack jobs with corncobs up their asses.

Thank you.

I get tired of hearing "------- liberals" and "------- conservatives" and "------- (whatever)."

It's not like people say "hmm im a retarded -------, I guess that makes me a liberal." There's fucknauts on both sides.

I actually pay attention to history and am very much aware of how rediculous the entire situation over there is, unfortunately most people think like Jorsher said, that we are over there making the world safe for Democracy, when in reality we don't even practice real Democracy here.
