IAB's are the secondary runners in your intake manifold. They open up at 5400 RPM....i'm sure you know what i'm talkin bout. Anyway, the purpose is to keep low end tq., (the litte we have) and in the upper powerband open the runners to have a nice high end. anywho, they won't work with a p28 anyway so don't worry about it :P

Since when do you wire up the IAB circuit when your not even running a GSR intake manifold? Thing looks like a 2g B16a to me.

That exhaust manifold was designed for the turbo the other way (compressor pass side) and yes it will crack, even with those homo brackets on it.

My bad, it looked like the intake mani dropped down, so i guessed it was a b18c1

yeah, i thought the iab's were for the gsr mani, but then i was like 'wtf do you mean wire up my iab's' anyways, i got my downpipe welded up yesterday at the exhaust shop for 40 bucks and got an extra o2 bung welded in for a wb. my ------- ecu still isn't here, so i'm only boostin about 3 psi with retarded timing and 93 oct, mostly staying out of boost all together, but i like to blow off every now and then ----, as soon as it hits 1 psi, i feel that ---- though, then i just work the gas pedall to keep it right at or under 3 psi for a few seconds, but it's scary knowing that i don't have management :P honestly, i think the manifold will crack before too long, there is just too much weight on it, period, but that's o.k. cause i'll just get a new one.

jeff, i know it designed to put the turbo the other way, but the compressor was all up in my radiator fan :P

here are more pics of when i re ran my charge pipes after i realized my bumper wasn't going to fit :P i'll take pics of the down pipe today.

yeah, i'm waiting on the obd1 ecu with a chip in it to drive me to 'the man' to tune it this weekend. i'm obd2 so i had to buy an ecu also, i've already got the conversion harness and injectors......
