The Projects....

Well this whole ------- deal is taking way longer than I expected. I have to redo each page one by one. So I figured I would rename all the pics as well and organize them all nicely in folders. Plus fix all my spelling and add a bit more explanation to some of the pics/installs.

I honestly don’t know a damn thing about HTML, so this ---- is pretty new to me. Geocities (where my old website was hosted) I used Page builder a user-friendly (retard) program that lets you drag and drop just about anything you want. So now switching to Dream weaver by macromedia things are a bit different. It ------- takes me about 1 hour to redo each page. Grrrrr!

Expect the new site up and running next year :P

(it pretty much will look just like the last one with some revisions)

Re:The Projects....

I code all my html in notepad and ftp it to websites.. if you code in notepad it keeps your source much cleaner.. Most html gui type softwares blow tons of usless extra text into your source. What i do also sometimes is to do some in a gui/ edit the source and copy what i like to paste into another notepad window.. you can learn how all the fancy tricks are done this way.. well thats just me , but i code vb in notepad too. for your project i would write one good style sheet and use in for everything with an include statement. this is how the gui does it "magically" .. thats the problem with gui's "you dont get to learn the guts of the code".

Re:The Projects....

I agree, to help you would need to know all the naming conventions for pic files and links, as well you would need to know the directory structure of the website and how he intends to use it..

To keep things uniform, Jeff is best to continue to build the site in whatever form he has chosen..

Like any project "too many engineers and you get a really hard to manage product".
