and an RB is probably the dumbest swap you can do. you can't get parts in the stats for them. and you don't have the money to make serious hp. now, on a stock sr20det (witch can be had for 1300 + shipping) you can put an aftermarket headgasket on it (metal, 150$$) and a good sized turbo, and make 500whp no problem. dont say you can't because its been dont many times.

RB is really dumb in the states to do.

actually everything bolts up. all u do is drill 3 holes which is easy as ---- to do you -----.

coupes can be had for 900. i seem them all the time for around that if not maybe $200 more so around 1100. auto>5spd is easy as **** on these cars. rb20 scott? man u got a lot to learn. if u can't get the 25 then settle for the sr20, trust me. there's like 3 guys around me that have rb20 n they couldn't even hang with the sr20 in stock form at the same boost level. just not worth it. random hero, your an idiot.

random sounds reasonable, rb swaps are pricey, and i agree with the lack of parts availablity.

id rock the sr20.

itll make the power your looking for for cheaper

No ---- why an RB25? Why not go all out if your gonna do a rb swap and just get a rb26dett. I don't care if I got a s13 I'd drop a SR in it and be done with it and not even mess around with the KA not matter what people say about them. The parts selection for SR20dets are as vast a b-series parts.

I would just put rods and pistons in the K24DE and boost it.Simple and easy.Def not JDM coolness but no running around hunting for parts and makes great torque.I think this is a pretty disputed topic among Nissan guys but I dont see the logic in doing a motor swap to put in a smaller engine that is 15 years old by now.

i dislike 4 cylinders, it lacks the torque, and if i went rb20, it woudl have a shitload of headwork done so the engine could breath. and i do have money, but im deciding on whther i want to go all out and spend it. rb26dett swap it completely stupid, you have to get a tranny to fit it which costs hella more skrill, rb20 is crap compared to rb25, i really want to go rb25, but if not, i will probably just go SR.. the 5 speed swap will be easy, i will probably just end up fabbing my own lines and flaring them and having a fitting to make it work. for 900 dollars this is a damn good deal. now im considering if i should go with a 91+ front end, or a silvia front, hm decisions decisions.

Hmmmm rb26dett is stupid? Just bolt the rb25 5spd tranny and and the Mckinney mount kit isn't that much since you said you got the money. I just think if you gonna go through with a RB 6 cylinder swap then make it worthwhile. Eitherway it's your ride.
