Ok, I just started it up, and it was smoking like a fucken chimney. I shut it off and put a restrictor valve on it. Started it with the restrictor valve completely shut, and that turbo spins like a mother at idle with no oil pressure. So once the oil all burnt off I tapped the restrictor to just give it a little pressure, and as soon as I touched it the DP started smoking again like a bitch. This turbo is junk.
I bought the turbo from 89sipimpin. He bought it from some douche bag on here that took forever to ship it, and 89sipimpin ended up buying another one while waiting on this one to arrive. All he had to go off is what the douche bag told him, but I think I'll still have to burn a cross on his front yard tonight. lol.
Oh well, guess I just have to find another 63/60. Maybe it's a sign that this car is going to treat me well if I just put some more time into her.
The bad part is that I welded the manifold up, and when my manifold to turbo bolt idea didn't work all that great, I welded the manifold to the turbo, then welded the DP flange to the turbo, then welded the DP to the DP flange. I guess I owned myself there, but ---- that bitch, I'll still get the last word.

On another shitty tip. When Stan was here from Canada, he swapped out his 48/60 for a bigger turbo. I told him that he wasn't going to cart that old turbo around, so I bought it. DoubleAaron mentioned that he wanted to buy it from Stan, but he didn't have the cash. I bought the 48/60 for $150 from Stan, and traded even to DoubleA for his 42/48. I figured I could sell the 42/48 for $150, break even, and hook up one of the homies. hahah. So I DO have another turbo, but it's a bitchy 42/48. A little story about my life. lol. It's all good though. If getting another 48/60 is all I have to do, than that ain't no thang.

(No filter with open downpipe OWNS. The neighbors said, "your car sounds like an airplane, but the smoking is a problem". hahaha)
