Re:problem.....
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say no. That area is already stressed, and removing material there will undoubtedly spell disaster. Just my opinion though.

Re:problem.....
No way is jb weld going to work on something with that much stress. just look at the bolt it's not your typical whimpy little thing. your best bet is maybe go to a machinist and see what they can do

Re:problem.....
Did you get into the water jacket or is it just a chunk of metal? If it's just metal weld it back on, I have done that before rebuilding wrecks. If you don't have the equipment or the experience call a local welder with a mobile unit on a truck to come to your house. It will be WAY cheaper and easyer than replacing the block. If you are into the water jacket (leaking coolant) your screwed.

Re:problem.....
OMG! Punch your friends in the nuts for that one! How hard were they yanking on it? :o WTF? Didn't they realize something was still attached and try to check first before hulking that bitch off?
I would try to weld it if it's not into the water. What's the worst that could happen? If it doesn't work you have to buy a new block, if it does, than cool. __________________ Best Car Insurance | Auto Protection Today | FREE Trade-In Quote |
