probation violation :(. what will happen?
 

ok here is the story. almost two years ago i got a DUI and went defered so i had to do a two year treatment program, five years probation and have an ignition interlock on my car for a year. well i lost my job in january and couldn't afford to pay for my treatment anymore so the last time i went was febuary. i have been trying to get back in for awhile but never had enough money to get back in. i sold my other car so i could get back in, but i got a letter in the mail saying i have a court date on friday for a probation violation because i haven't been going to treatment.
i talked to my treatment place and they said since i only have 10 visits left that i could come in and pay up front and i would be good. i went down today and the guy told me that it has been too long to just pick up where i left off so i would have to start all over :o. i told him i couldn't afford it and left. so now i have to go to court still out of compliance with probation.
anybody know what will happen on friday? ---- i can't afford to go to jail.

They'll probably tell you that you have so long to go back to the classes, and if you do not do it within that amount of time, you're going to jail. Sorry man. :-\

i got a job in april but i am also goingg to school fulltime so that would screw me out of a whole quarter that is almost over.

Ha, one time I thought I was going to do the "right thing" and take care of my ---- and not be on the run. What did they do, threw a set of handcuffs on me and sent me to county jail. ::) That was a fun drive handcuffed in the back of a probation car for an hour. >:( I had crazy thoughts of getting the handcuffs in front of me and strangling the fat mother fucker sitting in the passenger seat. The bitch that was driving looked back at me and with a smile on her face she says "Are you comfy?" OMG I wanted to choke the bitch. That's so fucked up. Probation sucks. I got fucked over so much by my probation officers. ---- them.......

damn dude i dont know wat to tell you but i work with a gut thats in the same ---- as you and if slips once than hes up ---- creek but maybe theyll let you work somthing out..but if not run from them and video tape that ---- and post on here IF you make it home..

no worries jeff they wont send you to jail, i've had way to many friends violate their ---- to, its just a slap on the hand usually, besides look how long you did go you almost made it 2 yrs so at least it showed you attempted, they can look up you lost your job and see for themselves, just be like half the rest of yakima and get it for free. ------- bums.

Just focus on that you are going to school trying to better yourself and that you tried to re-enroll in the program but they wouldn't let you finish up.

dui is dangerous, but some of the ---- they have you go through for it is rediculous. chances are your prison is over crowded just like the rest of them and they'd rather put you on probation or something similar than lock you up.

go and talk to some military recruiters, and get something from them saying you were there. i know alot of people who that worked for. just act really interested.

then tell the judge, you want to try to help yourself out, and you think the military would be the best way, because it would get you away from all of the trouble, blah blah blah...

it might work? :-\ I know it worked for a friend of mine.

i got hit with a C felony and i'm almost done with probation....DWI and "stuff" i got sentenced to out patient program and anger managment type ----, why? i don't really know i'm a very calm kid. I also got 5 years probation and if i'm good i only gotta serve 2.5 :) the key is to make buddys with the guys in the program...i left a couple dirty things and they helped me out by not telling my PO real cool dudes. Try calling the program or your councelor and ask him nicely to talk to you're PO. Good luck guy i know how it feels to be in your situation.

Just explain your situation, I'm sure it will be fine. You've kept your nose clean otherwise? You're a full time student, I think that looks good on your record.

i already did 4 years in the navy, actually i got the DUI two weeks after i got out and moved back home :-\.

other then a speeding ticket and a negligent driving 2nd degree (wich doesn't go against my probation) i haven't been in any trouble so maybe they will see that. or they can be dicks and send me to jail because i'm sexxy and they need more people to get ass raped :-*..... :'(, wait that would suck also

yeah man, they will revoke your deffered. get back into treatment if you don't want to go to jail. if you go to court and you havent been pro-active in getting your responsibilities taken care of, you will have a state funded vacation for however long they want. i know its a pain in the ass, but its not as bad as having the pain in ass that gets you in the shower :(

You will be at the mercy of the judge who hears your case. Hopefully you don't do anything that pisses him/her off. Do whatever you can to arrange treatment b4 you go back to court. You need to make it look like you are trying to fix things. They may extend your treatment, but at least you can keep your virgin ass.

Out here it isn't state funded. You have to pay $50 a day to stay in jail. Isn't that fucked? :-\

damn too much reading, but my advise, go to court explain your situation, tell them you can't afford it and you are going to school fulltime. Stopped work to concentrate on school to make sure you excell, bring a transcript showing you are enrolled fulltime. And if you are actually a good student, have teachers write notes that praise your performance in class. Just an idea, but it may work to keep you outta jail.

Prep up some defenses to try and not get jail time. If they wanna lock you up anyways, see if they will lock you up after the school semester is over. That sucks though man

i don't understand why the state didn't help you pay for the treatment program (or pay it in full). It's like being told to pay for the time you spend in jail.

Hopefully you'll get to plea another deferred sentence, community service, or something like that.

Ummm...out here you have to pay for your treatment AND pay each day you are in jail. Yeah, it sucks for the people who keep ------- up, but I'd rather they had to pay for it than tax payers. :-\ If they want to be shitbags their entire life, why should I have to pay for that? It might make them think twice about ------- up and going back to jail. I know I learned. :-\
