Default primewell truck tires? Junk or No?

So I'm looking at some new 31's for my truck. I'm kinda on a tight budget, and I want an A/T tire with some aggressive tread, since I like to drive logging roads and off-road here and there. As everyone knows because of oil prices, tire prices have gone up considerably.

I'm looking at two:

El-cheapo brand: Primewell PA100

The guy at tirewarehouse said they sell a lot of Primewell car tires and he hasn't seen much for complaints. These are the first set of truck tires he's seen from them. They look decent. No warranty though.

Price: $500 installed and old tires disposed of.

General Grabber AT/2

60,000 mile warranty, I've heard pretty good things about them. My cousin has a set on his tacoma, but he bought them when they were cheaper, like 75-80 per tire.

Price: $590 installed and old tires disposed of.

i made the mistake once if buying new tires with there so called warranty..

there was a piece of metal in the dirt road and it got into the tire.. when i took it to them under warranty they said it was my fault

i asked them why i paid so much for the warranty they said to protect against nails.. i told em wtf so all you would have done is pathced my tire

w/e

I bought some Primewells for my pos Contour a couple years ago....

they lasted 3 months and less than 10k miles.

all 4 tires had wavey wear patterns. the guy at the shop i got them said it was my suspensions fault, which I called BS on and asked for a manager (brand new suspension was put on about 2 months prior to the new tires). i eventually got my money refunded and went and bought some better tires.

i would not recomend primewells to anyone, not even buk.

Did you get an alignment after your "new suspension"?

Some of those look like decent deals buk, but they're all way up north in VT. I live in SW VT, like 20 mins from mass, and 5 from NY

I used quotes because new suspension could mean a lot of things.

Don't get all butt hurt. it's just a question.

sorry ebolla.

you have to realize though my point of view, this is HMT you know, everyone tries to be a smart *** on here. and when you used the " " i assumed you were trying to bash me.

i figured you were thinking i put on some ebay budget lowering kit or heated the springs to lower the car like a or clamped down the springs to lower it, or jacked it up and "donk'ed" it like a

to summerized.....

PRIMEWELLS ARE WORSE THAN HT, HHH, AND BUK COMBINED
