prices...

i am planning on boosting my 85 civic and i am wondering around how much would it cost roughly for me to get a IHI from a probe, fuel pump from and integra or civic si, exhaust piping for my charge pipes,(i already have exhaust and get piping about half off) and a dsm bov. im just wondering how much i should set aside, and i dont think that im gunna go for a intercooler wight away. oh and do you think that the IHI is a good turbo to start with? if not what else should i use. i am on a budget and only wanna run around 7 or 8 psi.

thanks//

Yo, Welcome to Hmt, keepin it gangsta with the 85 are you? You dont have to limit yourself to an ihi, any dsm turbo would work out for you as well and flanges / parts are more common. You would probably want an intercooler at 8psi. What r u using for fuel management? I want to see pics of the 85 before i offer any more advice.

this is all being done on a carbed civic, i know this guy who has the same car as me that has done this with the t3 i think and he is running 13psi and a 75shot of n2o all on the stock ew motor. i know a guy who is gunna convert my carb to a blowthrough carb so it'll work but how much do you think it would cost roughly?

look in the forced induction section. there is a sticky there. it will give you a real good idea on how much you are going to spend.
