Re: Price Question

Cuase i have seen the one's go for like 100. There is nothing wrong with that model. I hope you arent running boost cuase if you are Ditch that bullshit and get your ecu chipped. lot easier and safer

Re: Price Question

there's nothing wrong with running a vafc i've ran one for over a year dyno tunned w/o a problem. chipping the ecu seems complicated
compared to running the vafc. Try getting it for $125. mine cost me $275. new w/shipping. $150. doesn't seem too bad either.

nothing wrong with them unless you think over advanced timing is bad on boosted motors.

Re: Price Question

Chipping kit is $21.Add $19 if you are OBD1 and need to convert your non vtec ecu to vtec.$15 for a custom basemap to your specs pre burned on a chip.Data logging kit is about $30.A burner to burn chips is $50 for a Willems or $85 for a Moates burn1.There is also the Moates Ostrich option which allows on the fly programming.Really there is no point to running a Safc or Vafc and MSD BTM combo when for the same price you can have a way better programmable engine management system and have cool features like launch rev limiters etc. Those prices are from http://-------------/products.php?page=prod_cover a sponsor on here and a alround great guy to deal with.
