preview of the new setup....
 
this is my new setup which includes
ss autochrome manifold (dont flame me)
.60 .63 turbo
ported sohc throttle body with oversized butterfly
venom intake manifold
hondata intake manifold gasket
450cc injectors
steves oil lines ( i like the new ones, bling bling 8) )
uberdata
2.5inch ic piping
rev hard fmic
volvo bov
fidanza flywheel 7.5lb
act street strip
stock d16z6 with LOW LOW mileage
aem true time cam gear.
z6 tranny
and some other bullshit will be added on later msd yada yada

im gonna see how much a stock d will take and how far i can get, i have a backup engine so when i blow it i'll have no downtime WHILE im still building my built D for the d-series race ;)

oh yeah, how does my oil return look?

hah, and the back mount bolts arent in yet, the clutch isnt bled, the axles arent in, the suspension isnt in, the battery isnt in, my iacv isnt in, my vacuum lines arent connected, there is not radiator, and part of my charge piping isnt finshed :P but tomorrow it'll all be done

That tape is totally pimp :P.

I have a dumb question I am sorry if its a stupid one. But ur BOV is very close to ur TB and I heard that the closer the BOV is to the TB the better the throttle response is, but some times if its too close the air would go back to the turbo at higher RPM. So i thought like a foot was the ideal area?

LOL WHY THE ---- does everyone comment on the duct tape on the return line? do you have a better way to cut it without it fraying? besides the jb weld isnt dry yet :P and theres not clamps and didnt you know? ducttape is mad jdm

and about the bov question, i dont know, i just put it where i felt like it and it seemed to fit there, these bovs have small little holes i was thinking about putting two to reduce compressor surge but ehh

when it's go time it's go time, no time to pick up tools after they've been used. looks like it's comming alone real good. the turbo mani looks good, so does the im.
