All fab work done at www.straightlinespecialties.com... a lot of guys on d-series.org are running the SLS log and mini log... Nick has told us this top mount should be for sale to the public soon.

thats pretty pimp for a d-series. so 10 psi will get you .4 sec shaved off your quarter mile time. haha hope he didnt spend to much on building up the block. jk, nice car but correct me if im wrong but isnt that a whitey bend downpipe? haha HMT style after all.

Im just curious but do guys on the mid to east side of this country like not have mandrel bends availble or what? I can understand at times you need a super sharp radius and what not, but thats not really a crazy bend?

The setup looks pretty sick though other than the whitey bend, loving the color.

The "whitney bend" as you call it, we refer to as a pie cut... we can get mandrel bends, but They add almost a 1/2" of extra space in the middle of the bend.(plus they look way cooler)

He's still running on stock ignition, and our track prep sucks... he ran that 11.7 with a 1.9 60'! It will be at SCN winnipeg in the SLS booth along the the gt35r'd sti and this dsm that are the latest projects over there...

By the next track day he should have ignition and a custom Sheet metal intake manifold.

BTW, "mexi gold" = inca gold pearl...

Ok, Joel calm down. Nick at SLS does a lot of Whitey bends, even though everyone that looks at the pic knows that a regular bend would probably fit in there. I'm pretty sure he just does some of them for looks (lets face it, they look pimp), although I've never asked him. I'm pretty sure the color is from PT cruisers. And I will agree with Joel, the track prep does suck here. Put him on a good track and I could see him running low 11's.I think he's hoping for 10's this year. The guy that owns/drives that car has built and driven many HIGH HIGH HIGH HP DSM's, but as far as I know this is his first real attempt at a Honda.
