Off the valve stems? How? Huh? What?

If you prime the block then painte it and bake it the pain should be fine and if you powercoat it it should be even better. If you know what the hell you are doing it wont flake and if you mask off everything properly it should be fine.

I'm using high temp silver paint on my valve cover and it looks good and doesn't flake.
Have it on for 2 month's now
It can withstand 650 degrees celcius
