Post solid places I should move to

Re: Post solid places I should move to
When I first drove out to Washington from Ohio back in the spring I took I-90 all the way out here and was afforded some really nice views. One thing I didn't expect was Coeur D'alene, Idaho. I didn't know what Idaho was like but that place is absolutely gorgeous, I was headed through a tight mountain pass when the road opens up to the left suddenly and you can see a huge lake surounded by mountains with houses dotting the water's edge. I had to go back through there last month coming home from leave and the mountain pass gets pretty god damn dangerous but I made it through alright in a v6 Mustang without tire chains so it can't be that bad.

Western NY.
Finger Lakes Region, lots of average state parks and whatnot.
Relatively close to buffalo and Toronto.
$10-$15 /hr jobs aplenty.
More than one drag strip within reasonable distance.

Hit up the west of the Puget Sound area. Silverdale/Poulsbo area is ------- ****. You could go to work at the shipyard starting at $17.00 an hour, and you can get a 3 bedroom house for about 1200 a month (in the nice areas) All in all Its pretty pimp. Mall is about 15min drive. Mountans are about 1hr drive and the salt water, lakes, and woods are everywhere. Silverdale Washington made it into the top 20 places in the USA to live or some ---- like that. Weather here is alot better than Seattle because we are in the Banana Belt. Highs in the winter are about 42* lows are around 32* and summers are in the upper 70* to lower 80*.

If you can bear the bitter-cold winter months northeast wisconsin or western wisconsin are beautifull in the spring/summer/fall.........well now that I think of it its not worth it. This place is so ------- cold, I am retarded for staying here.

Re: Post solid places I should move to
central texas is where its at. mostly nice weather year round, and if you decide you dont mind driving a bit to your job, you can live outside the suburbs of austin (really nice city for the most part) or houston in a ghetto house for dirt cheap. i live about an hour away from austin and a 4 bedroom house with garage in a nice neighborhood is about 700 a month.

My thoughts right now is Colorado for the Spring/Summer. Sign something like a 3 month lease hopefully. Then maybe Washington or Portland for the Fall/Winter. Idaho for the Spring/Summer. Then down south somewhere for the Winter/Fall.
