no man, don't ruin those si's! i had my phat 5's painted black and although it looked good from a distance and it was cool at first, i was really booty and i ended up stripping the paint off anyways, save yourself the trouble. if you want some black rims, buy some.

I painted mine because they were kinda dull looking. They lost there finish and starting looking like ass. So I cleaned them spotless, primered, and shot them with a flat black industrial coating. I think they turned out good. very durable.

Yeah beleive it or not thats the same car. It was actually Clover green pearl and all kitted up but after driving it like that and growing out of the ricyness, I tore it all appart and decided to do a completely new re-creation. it went in the garage at my house an NA bodykit showcar and came out a Turbocharged clean machine ;) It took me quite a while to do all the work, so I didn't really get much summer time to enjoy the hard work. Next year, with paint.

I painted them before the tires were put on, most of the white ---- you see around the edges is mounting lube, the messed up part on the center is from the balancing thing, they have to lock the rims in place. I need to get some paint to touch up the center console and to paint my oil pan too, so I'll have to see if I can convince some store clerk somewhere that I'm 18.

Chances are I'll be going back with the factory color. It's a dark metallic green. I had considered changing the color, but thats going to be alot of work to do right. Plus I've got that tan/light tan interior so not too many colors match, lol. But like I said dark metallic green with some bronze Circut 8's would suit me well.

nice choice, that's gonna look sick. The oem color would be great especially since the inner part of you car is already thet color, all you have to do is be cheap and get only the outside painted. :D

Built ZC. I made the manifold,charge pipes, strut bar and alot of other stuff myself.
