can you post some side shots of the painted black rims? as you can see i got the same wheels and i thought about doing that. or pm the pics to me i might forget where to look for them.

 

no man, don't ruin those si's! i had my phat 5's painted black and although it looked good from a distance and it was cool at first, i was really booty and i ended up stripping the paint off anyways, save yourself the trouble. if you want some black rims, buy some.

atleast powder coat / clear coat them so they look decent.

 

I painted mine because they were kinda dull looking. They lost there finish and starting looking like ***. So I cleaned them spotless, primered, and shot them with a flat black industrial coating. I think they turned out good. very durable.

 

you bes not paint your Si's black. Besides I think it would look homo black on your car

 

Yeah beleive it or not thats the same car. It was actually Clover green pearl and all kitted up but after driving it like that and growing out of the ricyness, I tore it all appart and decided to do a completely new re-creation. it went in the garage at my house an NA bodykit showcar and came out a Turbocharged clean machine It took me quite a while to do all the work, so I didn't really get much summer time to enjoy the hard work. Next year, with paint.
