Yah, i know. The seat belt anchors are no more. They're ompletely rusted and I could bend them right off.

All my car friends are amazed how often I drive the car considering it's condition. Let along driving it around NYC with all the potholes etc.

It's coming off the road on September 11th when my insurance runs out.

Hellz yeah. I've been looking for an 85-87 si for around $200 with minimal rust around my area. It's not easy in the northeast as you already know.

This will be the winter project.

Turbo project is done and in the tuning process. It's a Saab T3, I'm only boosting 5 pounds.

Wow the day i see a EW engine turbo'd was the day pigs could fly :P. Gj on that ---- never thought of stock hf manifold for a turbo :p. What intake are you running? : )

I have pics of the complete setup on my HD not yet uploaded.

The adapter was machined by BMC (Sam) and is beautiful. I have the first one he made.

The intake mainfold is stock, if that's what you meant.
If you mean the turbo intake, I'm using stock Saab parts with a no-name $10 filter that comes on the short ram intakes. The stuff fits like they were made to be there.

The wing will be gone probably this weekend. I liked it at first, but now I don't care for it.

You should have seen the car before I started.
A new to me 90,000 mile motor and 13,000 mile tranny will be in my hands in two weeks. That's winter's project, a set a H beams and head studs so I can boost a little more.
Boost is adictive!

*boggle* after i cracked open the heads of HF ew engine i personally would of dropped it from a 50 story window. So you're running a SI FI correct? How would you tune with a vacuum advance? :D

I use an MSD BTM, the vacuum advance isn't working during boost so I don't worry about it.

I use an SMC-500 with a set of DSM 450CCs for fuel.
Still dialing in my fuel, I'm lean (14.7) at 3000-3500RPMs and fat (10:1) at 4000- and up.
I have a wideband from TwinTec. Got it for $105 shipped, I already had an NTK sensor I bought a while back.

my first import was an 87 blue rex. that fucker smoked and i could never get it to go above 100mph. i fucken hated the plastic fenders though.

Meh old engine in the seat 1st gen crx came with broken plastic fenders as an option at the factory! : P It also came with psychodelic rear quarter fender bubble glass
