Post before landfall, hurricane smurricane

In probably 3 hours i wil be in comfort of a luxury hospital laughing at all the fools who decided to leave yesterday.
I will have food, water, a shitter, maybe a net connection, and electricity (generator) even while the lights go out.

------- crazy ---- that happens when everyone decides to panic with katrina still fresh in their minds.
I couldn't find any damn bottled water or ice yesterday, so we're down to filling up zip locks with water, freezing that ---- and just sticking some filtered water in some jugs. Going to the store it looked worst than y2k a few years back with not only white people panicing but just about everyone from sand ------ to honkees going wild about a freaking loaf of bread and milk, trying to kill each other over that ----.

Same ---- happenning in our shitty ass freeways, with people waiting 3 days in advance in line to fill up their behemoth tank they call a SUV and end up using it all up on the freeway getting stuck and only moving something like 40 miles on the freeway and 20 miles out the city in 10 hours. All this panicing causing the ------- irony of not having a drop of gasoline in the city who ------- refines crude into gasoline. For all those bitches who left early and ran out of gas going nowhere there is a relief with people passing out water and now tankers are going up and down the freeway filling up cars to get them to whatever destination that doesnt have hotels because of all the ------s that are taking up space from katrina.

Although now it would be a clear shot to any of the designated larger cities and i feel happy that I stayed home and didn't end up fighting some bitch on the freeway and in case of any worst case scenarios i have a full tank in my crx and 3/4's in my families caravan.

And last but not least in case anyone decides to even loot, i have my rottweiler ready to chase any ------ and mexican out of my house and the ------- police are circling around every so often checking the area out.

Hurricane smurricane their ain't going to be ----.

p.s. random has a horse cock

where are you located is the question? you won't have power if the generator (which is most likely on the sub floor of the hospital in most cases) floods like what happened to all the people who thought they were safe in the hospitals in new orleans ;) you've obviously never delt with a direct hit from even a cat 2 hurricane if you feel so care free about a cat 4. your area doesn't get as 'many' direct hits from hurricanes, and especially not severe one's, i've lived in coastal cities on the east coast all of my life, and between living in coastal cities (and i mean literally a few miles from the beach and a few feet above sea level) in both FL and NC and have been through at least 2 dozen if not more direct hit's from hurricanes ranging anywhere from cat 1 to a cat 5 (i lived in FL when andrew hit in 92), and basically what i'm getting at is the fact that depending on where you live, YES, YOU REALLY SHOULD BE WORRIED. so, have fun :D

I kind of do hope so.
If you have never been thru a storm that strong you do not know what you are talking about. Not everyone has the luxury of a hospital with all the conveniences and luxury. People do get stupid and panic, I'll give you that, but it aint no joke.

You're as stupid as the 2 rednecks that said that they were going to ride the storm out on their boat wich they were going to tie to a TREE.There is also a bunch of drunks(all white of course) at a bar in galveston that are going to ride it aout ath the only bar that will REMAIN OPENduring the storm. The weather channel did a 5 minute piece on all these idiots. ::)

I hope you and your dog die.

lol, people like that deserve to die. that's some funny ---- they'll be regretting real soon and get a very sobering reality check. hell, they'll prolly think they're seeing the worst of it when the winds are 80mph and not even close yet.

Re: Post before landfall, hurricane smurricane

There shouldnt be a direct hit towards our area and we are well away from any storm surge area. as far as the hospital generator is concerned, yes it's going to flood it always does and people are going to be trapped in the city because of how flooded all major roads will be but the area in which i will be heading into has never flooded to where the hospital was affected (the entire city is just one giant drainage ditch. Going to tropical storm allison and with the experience of my parents going through hurricane allysia (cat 3) which treked directly through the middle of the city there is enough of agreement that everything should be fine. The flooding that is going to occur in our area should not be any worse than when tropical storm allison dropped by and decided to rain for what seemed like weeks. I am located in the western edge of town approx 100 miles inland with major bayous as our drainage hope you guys like the 4 dollar gas thats going to come because all refineries and major ports in houston/galveston area are closed (1/4 of all gas made in the US)

As far as this storm is concerned yes i'm taking it seriously enough, but not as panicky as some people have started to shat themselved have taken it. I have packed accordingly, taken care of my pets/cars accordingly and am ready to sit my ass 20 days if i have to with the food that we've been preparing/freezing. All in all, If anything goes wrong i'm headed to mexico 8)

Re: Post before landfall, hurricane smurricane

people deffinitely over react, that's why i emphasized that a lot of it has to do with location also, 100 miles inland is still pretty close, but definitely not as much to fear as closer coastal cities/town. lol, the levie's just broke in new orleans again :D

Re: Post before landfall, hurricane smurricane

I said the same thing with Charlie last year, I'm in the middle of Central Florida, I thought by the time it gets here, is going to be weak and it's only going to be a cat 1 maybe.

Well it was a Cat 1 by the time it hit us, but there was so many old and weak trees, old power poles, old houses, things that had never seen hurricane force winds, it was serious, not many people died, but we were without power for almost 2 weeks, and could not get out of the house for a few days because of trees everywhere.

If there has not been a strong storm in the area in the last, I would say 5 years or more, a minor hurricane will do more damage than a strong one if there was one before. The first storm will clean and clear most things that will fly off.

I went thru all 3 last year, the centers went pass my county every time.

Just be careful guys and do not panic.

Now sitting here runnign my 20 minute limit for now. As far as this hurricane is concerned, there really has not been any major problem so far considering the eye is still off the coast. have had plenty water and food ate too much actually today. Everyone who disagrees with me otherwise can suck on the pair.
