Default Possible ebay scam??

so im checking my mail a lil while ago and i get this message saying that someone might be using my credit card on ebay. so it says please sign on and fix this right the right information credit card numbers and PIN numbers. heck ill just copy paste the note. and it looks real but when i click on the link. on the url box it says http://61.50.172.24744/aw-cgi/SignIn.html. that right there throws the red flag. be aware guys

hummm...sucks you have to consider this.

I would email ebay and see what they say.

if its true, they will tell you, and if its false, they will know about the scam, and hopefully take care of it.
works in both ways.

I've gotten that 3 times in the same month once....its a scam. but I always report them so at least it goes on record!

BIG SCAM!! BIG SCAM!! BIG SCAM!!

Ebay will not send you anything like this. We get these all the time. There is some web site you can report them to for internet fraud but I cant remember what it is. My wife(HMT MOM) knows what it is. I will get her to post.

dam, that sucks. i will keep an eye out for this. did
you get the email in your junk mail or your regular email?

and how often do you use ebay to purchase things? I have only bought 2 or 3 things off egay and never received anything like this before.

its a scam and a bad one at that its a IP and its fowarded to a specific port 444.

i use ebay regularly to buy stuff and sell stuff. yeah if hmtmom can get on here and let me know what site i can go to, to report those bastards that would be greatly appreciated. and it came in my regular email folder. not junk. god damn sbc. they need to filter that ----

This is obviously a scam. Anyone who buys/ sells over the internet should know this is a ------- scam. No reputable company will email you asing you for your cc number.
