swapped a 2.9l v6 ford engine into my dads friends truck today. took all day, got the bitch runnin, no oil pressure... ------ knocks. yay for junkyard motors.

i even painted the ------ valve covers and inake manifold :( lol

haha acually i looked at it some more and it seems like its the clutch/flywheel/dust guard or somethin kncokin around... the throw out bearing is so fucked i let the clutch out and it makes a terrible noise for mercy

nice painting work man. i like that intake. did you make sure the heads weren't cracked. that is the only problem with the 2.9L motor. They were pretty damn peppy but they had a lot of problems with the heads cracking. I think it needs to be boosted though. hahaha. a set of twins would be nice on that motor. haha

nah it just needs out of the garage asap :)

lol, this thread reminds me of a long time ago when someone ( i think it was from this site also) assembled an engine, all fordged internals...top of the line everything, then went to crank it by hand (while still on the engine stand) and couldn't get it to turn, picked his brain to high hell... took the head off and found a shop rag in one of the cyl. :-X

reminds me of when i was finishing my LS swap and i left a rag in the t-body and just slapped my intake on, that could have been real bad

that garage is bad ass though.
thats one of those garages where when you get deep into a project, and something doesnt go right so you have to ------ rig something up,- in that garage there looks to be alot of ---- you could ------ rig ---- up with. :D
