point me in some fuckin direction

i got an 88 ED6 and i need some help as far as my front crossmember goes. do all front crossmembers of the ED chassis fit eachother? can i get some traction bars that have a front tranny mount to replace the Xmember and help suspension? and if so who the hell sells some reliable traction bars that wont break and drop my motor while on the freeway going 80? imm realy frustrated about this ---- cause i went to pick n pull and got what i thought to be a Xmember from a hatchback and when i got home it was about 2-3 inches too long WTF?

aw ----, I only half assed read that. A 88-91 front x member from a hatch or crx will fit. If you need one with a front mount I would just stay stock, put some poly bushings in it and call it a day ;)

is it me or does running anything other than the OEM crossmember scare anyone else? Not knocking anyone who makes them but it seems that if those rods that go to the control arm fail you are bound to smack a wall pretty hard.

im just saying....

yeah it does seem like a bad idea but when ya need a new Xmember and some space for your turbo's DP tose things start to look tempting. plus if i break an oem Xmember i can blame honda

LMAo, i have a friend who works for honda ( customer service ). trust me you arent getting another one if you crash yours.

if space is an issue the atleast trim the area where you need that massive 4" DP and maybe reinforce it with some metal.
