HELLO Voided Warranty. I'm a VW tech at a dealership and I love seeing cars come in like 1.8T's where guys modify the sh*t out of their cars and then try to change everything back to stock when they come in for a problem. One of the bests was a guy came in with a GTi 1.8T that he broke his motor mount ( dog bone mount on VW's ) and tried to tell me that he didn't run his car hard. Lets see here I said to him. You have signs of a boost controller being in the car ( wires and lines were still there he just took the controller out ), Aftermarket BOV , intake system , Aftermarket exhaust , Cross drilled Rotors , EBC pads , SS lines.... and you don't run you're car hard. I wanted to slap this guy with a customer pay but unfortunitly warranty covered it. When guys/girls bring their car into the dealer I'm at and I have to work on it if it's modified and the customer doesn't try to hide it and if I mention something done could be causing the problem I'll be cool.
But when the person modifies their car and tries to hide it come on... half the tech.s that work where I'm at are into cars just as I am and know what to look for.
WTF!I hate service guys like you that take there ------- jobs too serious!Its not your ------- dealer!You dont pay for the parts!Do your ------- job wich is service the customer!Your like the guy that goes to the batchler party than tells the bride to be what the fucken batchler did!Or the mall security guy!!

every little bitch iming me aking "what parts do I need for my turbo" is from coral springs parkland or boca.. Just cause dad let you use his cc doesnt mean im going to help.

What made that guy start talking about the dealership he changes oil at? If you try to get all "impressive" with your job when you see the words intake, header, or exhaust, your at the wrong site guy.

You don't understand where this guy is coming from, at my dealership, techs that replace an engine not under warranty get about 18-25 hours depending on the car, when it's covered by warranty, the techs get 8-12 hours for the same job!!! Just last month a tech replaced a Y7 under warranty because of a broken ringland, turns out the tech found a nitrous nozzle in the airbox when he was tearing it down, the customer tried to hide the fact that he blew it up using nitrous, he took out the bottle and all lines but forgot the nozzle. This is money we're talking about, money the tech needs to pay rent. On the other hand, if the engine was not covered by warranty, the customer would never have it replaced at the dealership and pay the $4200, instead they go to a shop somewhere and pay around $2500. We also had a S2000 come in with a fried rear diff. it was lowered and had a 6 puck clutch which should have voided the warranty but we covered it. This dealership is unique though, and most wouldn't have covered it. We regularly install superchargers and Nitrous kits, and sell nitrous refills, when the guys from American Honda come down they are amazed at the amount of aftermarket ---- we install.
