Playing a .dvd file?

so yeah I downloaded the Trigun series the other night and all of the files are listed as .dvd I've never saw that type of file. I've tried just about every thing this side of actually burning it to a disk (no DVDS). Anybody have suggestions on how to play them?

There's really no such thing as a ".dvd" extension. What is the running time and file size?

My VLC player won't even play them... it plays everything!

I'll try new codecs though.

Re: Playing a .dvd file?

Tried with the new codecs and still no luck, and my VLC is working properly, it plays other files and actually played one of the trigun episods before the torrent was 100 percent done and it was list as a .occ or something like that.

These are just .avi in properties this is how they are listed [KAA]_Trigun_01v2.DVD[43FDAA29]

Download this program (G-spot):

http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=GSpot

Run it and load one of your avi files into it

Post up a screenshot of what it says.
