Hey, just saying what everone has already said, Pits are great dogs, it's all about the owners. I had a pit few years ago, best dog I've ever owned, he was great with people and kids, ---- the only thing you had to worry about is him licking you to death. Right now I have a Chihuahua (that's how you spell it ******* :1 ) and i got to tell ya no metter what you do whenever a stranger comes over my dog gets into an attack mode and will bite ancles and feet and ----... vishious little mother ******

Two points, one on the "bread to" German shepards were bread to hunt down and attack Jews, its amazing since the halucaust ended they don't chase and tackle jew's anymore...

second, have you ever seen first hand the damage a little dog will do? Jesus christ those dogs will ---- you up! I remember one of my neibourghs getting over 30 stiches in his face after being attacked! The dog got him to the ground and would not let up.

Yes there are some dogs that are born naturally mean, but its by no mean just one breed.

I've heard a lot of stories about dalmations being a mean and nasty breed but I grew up around these dogs and I would beg to differ.

However I strongly agree that it is all in how they are raised and what kind of environment they're in. All of my dalmations came from a respected breeder and not one of them was mean or uncontrollable.

My sister has a pitbull mix as well, and I hate that dog. Not because it's mean or anything...but because the little ****** chews up anything and everything in it's path. It's definately not dangerous though, my German shepherd / great dane mix is a lot more dangerous than my sister's half-assed pitbull. Not just because of the attitude, but size matters too.



There they are together, my sister's almost full grown pitbull mix for size referance.

my pit has been great around my little sisters. he did hurt her once but then went and put him self in time out for two days. but i will be the first to say that if you come in my house or yard without me introducing to him he will attack you. but that is because of how i raised him. his whole life he has been treated as part of the family and has probably spent more time on the couch than on the floor or outside. and has eaten more than people food than dog food. many people think that he is a mean dog but he has never bitten anyone and anyone who spends anytime with him realises he is like a big baby. but he has gotton grumpy in his old age and to make others feel better i have started to walk with a muzzle on him.

I have a pittbull and I ------- love the breed. VERY VERY loayal and VERY good around kids. Its all based on how they are brought up. STUPID PPL MAKE STUPID DOGS. I hate the fact they get such a bad name. I will always be a pittbull lover. And I will always own one. i Feel alot safer with one. and the lvoe they show is endless and mine are super smart.
