Piston ID Gurus. SOHC SRP's. Pics N Prescision Measurments
I bought these pistons from a member off of HT for basically for basically dirt cheap in a package deal, there used SRP's. They originally came form the member Spun Vtec but he doesnt seem to remember the compression of them
They are for a D16 They are SPR forged based on the thick ringlands They have a #10 and SRP logo stamped inside of them Heres the measurements I took with a digital vernier http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg Pics a little blurry but the 4 measurements are all there Heres an overhead pic if it helps http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg Now any other measurements you guys need I will gladly take as Im doing absolutely nothing this weekend, girlfriend is sick and Im just keeping company while she sleeps I guess. Ive got the used rings they were used with Im hoping someone can help me identify what pistons they are exactly from SRP's lineup and what compression they will yield in what motors. Im going to be using them in a D16A6 with a .040 milled head, just need a compression number to see if I should sell them or not. Thanks |

whats the deck height and CC of the piston :-*

Re:Piston ID Gurus. SOHC SRP's. Pics N Prescision Measurments
Am I able to figure those out?
Is deck height the 2" measurement Ive got on the right? |
Re:Piston ID Gurus. SOHC SRP's. Pics N Prescision Measurments
is the piston dished or domed? if its dished or flat top, use it.

Re:Piston ID Gurus. SOHC SRP's. Pics N Prescision Measurments
well there basically flat, if you look at the overhead pic you can see a ring going the circumference of the piston about 1cm inwards, well the height of the piston drops about 1mm on the inside of that ring
At first Spun said they were 9.5:1 Now I emailed him under another name and he says 10.5:1.... Which with my .040 milled head just isnt going to work I need to get an accurate compression ratio I was hoping the ringland hieghts and #10 stamping would be able to determine the exact piston from SRP's site |

ya man any info at all helps
Is your serial number on your pistons somewhere, maybe its hidden somewhere I cant see it...? or on a spec sheet, something I wish I had so I can either assemble these to my eagles or buy another set and not get an LSD Thanks, gonna go enjoy some canadian parking lots sideways Hopefully SRP will throw me an email |

ya none on mine either, I dont want to use them if my compression is gonna be like 11:1 and I try and run 18psi on 93 octane
KABOOM! |

dude are you ever gonna buy my nitrosu kti you won on ebay? if not i'll have to relist it and pay the 15 dollar ebay fee, which will not come out of my pocket cuz that just isnt cool, this is the 2nd time ive relisted it and now it will be the 3rd.
