Oh dam yo just go to court if u want to beat that ticket. I beat that ---- 2x already a few months ago. When the cop gave me the ticket i told him that it wasn't loud, he told me to tell the judge. I told him ur waste ur time and mines b/c i'm going to beat this ---- 
. It's funny b/c they hit me w/ a $50 ticket not that ---- u got. U could beat the ticket. The court out here don't do a db test.

Im in CT as well and i had to go to DMV for inspection on mine fortunatly i took my exhaust off and put the stock unit on. The DMV inspector said if you come through with a exhaust that dont pass they will right you a ticket on site at the DMV office for $150. Good luck if you have to go the guy looked at my tints and said if i didnt let him test them i would get a tickit for not having "State Tint Stickers". Its always some BS and its not going to get any better.
So just a heads up and that was at Wethersfield DMV but i know inspections centers are hard to come by so that may be the closest to you.
