just got a 150 dollar ticket and a fix it notice for my exhaust.....------ gay, i wasnt even rippin on it..

cops are assholes, btw thanks for the songs, they were good.

I have gotten 3 tickets for loud exhaust. theres basically no way to dispute it, its up to the officers judgement. I tried fightin it, waste of money

Dude i saw the topic "Pissed" and I thought, He's british and got drunk, or he actually pissed himself!

Things never change, I got a ticket leaving SIR 20 years ago for the same thing. Except my Vega's V8 didn't have any exhaust!!

check to see if there are places that can fix the ticket for $69. there's a place here in miami that guarantees they'll fix it for $69. they'll go to court for you and you'll get no pints on your license. it's called ticket busters.

just go to the honda dealer make buddys with a guy real quick and have him write a little thing saying it was fine...i actually think a regular certified CT inspection place will work as well

well in washington state the cop has to messure your DB level. if its over 90db then he can ticket you legally. i got one in my old car and it got thrown out. you guys just need to look into the traffic laws more before whimpering away from a judge. there are so many ways to bend the law. they do it to us everyday so why not do it to them.

^^ Do as neumen says.. I had a exhaust ticket one time as well. I went to the judge and I printed up some Greddy 50 state legal certificates, I told the judge, hey man My exhaust is suppose to be legal, I dont know what the cop is talking about. Took a few pictures to show the judge too, and he just dropped the ticket. It was so easy.

Oh dam yo just go to court if u want to beat that ticket. I beat that ---- 2x already a few months ago. When the cop gave me the ticket i told him that it wasn't loud, he told me to tell the judge. I told him ur waste ur time and mines b/c i'm going to beat this ---- ;D. It's funny b/c they hit me w/ a $50 ticket not that ---- u got. U could beat the ticket. The court out here don't do a db test.

Im in CT as well and i had to go to DMV for inspection on mine fortunatly i took my exhaust off and put the stock unit on. The DMV inspector said if you come through with a exhaust that dont pass they will right you a ticket on site at the DMV office for $150. Good luck if you have to go the guy looked at my tints and said if i didnt let him test them i would get a tickit for not having "State Tint Stickers". Its always some BS and its not going to get any better.

So just a heads up and that was at Wethersfield DMV but i know inspections centers are hard to come by so that may be the closest to you.
