I just got the edge with a razor and pealed it up on my truck but you may need a heat gun to do older stuff.

Thats the best thing. You dont want to use anything else (I worked at a bodyshop) you will scratch the clearcoat using a razor blade.

also when using a tool like this u have to be gentle with it and make sure you don't leave it in one place the long.....it will heat up pretty good if ur not moving back and fourth constantly

****NON-ACETONE NAIL-POLISH REMOVER****

Easiest way ever, helps if you have a buffer though too. Doesn't ---- the clear ;)

and dont rev the ---- out of the tool. i just keep it as low as possible. If you start reving it you will start to burn the paint, but it works flawlessly if you know how to use it.

+ 1 for the wheel its the only and best way.

Re: pinstripe adhesive

the wheel works awsome, thats what we use at Carmax to pull the pinstriping and adhesive off at the same time

be carefull using a a lot of those glue adhesive removers on paint because some of them will take the paint off.

Which is why I was saying hit it with the NON-acetone nail polish remover, it starts to decompose the vinyl and the adhesive. :y
