Pinks All Out

Been watching this little Pinks marathon thing they got going and I'm loving the new Pinks All Out. Seems like a lot less BS. Anyone else like it a lot better?

I was watching it too. Alot more straight up racing. No feathering or sandbagging. You get to see what the cars can actually do.

AND No gay ass 12 car lengths!!! Real car to Real Car

Def different than pinks...but what I dont get (maybe I missed this part) but what is the risk of any of these racers? Most of them have been on previous episodes of PINKS that I recognized...

You win money for every race you win and have to bet money on the next race.

I was glad she won, she seemed truly happy to be there, and totally excited about the whole deal.

I enjoyed the format of the show, and hope they put on a few more like this. Can't imagine they would switch to this format for the weekly shows, as I bet it was a bitch to sort through 200 some entries to find their 16 competitors.

Agreed, Thought the right person won.

I find there is alot less heckling and bitching with this one. More Like I loss oh well. Not I'm going to bitch to high hell.

The thing I hated about the regular one is the car lengths, I don't want to see an uneven match with 5+ car lengths. If I did, I'd line up my Auto Accord against anthing else one the road and give it a try.

By that, real cars, not cars built out "Spare Part" (They all seem to be) by shops. But guys that drive the cars, EVERYDAY, to work or school, and working hours just to get 3whp more or so.

I kinda liked the detail in the original style shows though, you learn the car, you actually know what it has and what drivers a good guy and which ones an -------

They should definetely be pairing more even cars up though

The girl winning was pretty cool to

Re: Pinks All Out

Speaking of some of the competitors from the regular season shows that were on "All Out", I was glad that Donnie kid lost early. He was such an ass on the regular season episode, with a bunch of yelling and screaming and bitching, that I certainly didn't want to see him win.

There was one guy, that couldn't start his Chevelle SS, and just kind of gave up. They didn't even try to push start it or anything. Just said "That's it." and quit. WIth 16K on the line, I'd be busting my ass to get that car up to the line.

I do hope they change the format a little for the regular shows, do something to get rid of the sandbagging and the negotiations. It was great to see some real racing going on, with fairly well matched vehicles. It will take a little harder work on their part, but it will make for a more exciting show.

ha one of the origonal eposodes the red civic that was all riced out to hell, is for sale an hr from my house. im thinking about buing it except for the fact that it needs paint and body work. and i have not done either of tose before so that can only cost me more money. :X

Re: Pinks All Out

The one thing about that show I saw was, that about 90% of the competitors need to go see a dentist. Their teeth looked like they had been gnawing on the bars of their cages.

Scary.

You ever try to push start a TH400 with a 4000 stall vertor??????

maybe about 40 mph you might get the engine to start turning over, by then the tranny fluid will be trashed.

he didn't jump. He forgot to set the transbrake so when he staged the power overwhelmed the brakes and it crept forward.

Re: Pinks All Out

LOL... Thursday was the first time I'd ever seen either show.

I think the all out was kind of stupid because there's nothing on the line. The people were all smiles if they won or lost, because they got their shot and could still drive their car home. It's like spending 2 dollars on a lottery ticket and not winning... Oh well... Then again, someone got disqualified for going too fast so there's some competition built in to it.

With the regular show, there's a quickness to it that's appealling. Like when they're bitching and yelling at each other negotiating, the guy who runs the show just butts in and says "Hey, if you don't decide, I'm taking both cars." So they need to think quick, react quick and race quick. It's not very calculated at all... I imagine the stress and pressure would have to be unbelievable.

BigD 11-26-2006 02:47 PM

Re: Pinks All Out

The all out should be a compilation of all of the winners from the regular show. Did you see the one with the two brothers that raced and they said since they were brothers they were putting the losers car up on Ebay so he couldn't give it back?
