Does it have "usb to pc," "usb connect," or best of all....internet sharing?

If so I can help you out.

Just shows how to make a signal booster from a cell phone, aluminum foil, ethernet cord, and a salad bowl.

Call whoever you use for phone and ask them about using your phone as a modem. I know I can go that with my A900 on Sprint.

Re: piggy back the internet?

nevermind, i found it. i guess i would end up paying 60 a month with at&t for their phone modem service. and its only slightly faster than dial up. since ill be getting wireless internet at the start of next month ill just wait. but at least then ill be able to post pics and videos. ive got a pretty bad ass video of my friends lizard killing a mouse and ripping its head off. it only likes the heads for some reason. leaves a bloody mess everywhere.

Or just buy a cheap linksys wireless router and install dd-wrt...

I've had a pretty stable internet connection for months now thanks to it.

Re: piggy back the internet?

what kind of range do you get with that?

Re: piggy back the internet?

install dd-wrt sinister, then read the wiki for bridging sinister. Or if you can't figure it out, lemme know.

I get decent range from the router, but im using high gain antennas I took from walmart back during my klepto days when they cost $100 for the set. I pick up 3-8 networks but most are usually locked.

Re: piggy back the internet?

my buddy actually made one of those range extenders out of an old DirectTV dish and it worked pretty good, we couldnt figure out what kind of range it had because he lives in the middle of ------- no where but it deffinatly boosted the signal a lot from one end of the house to the other. i was thinking of making something small that i could put in my car so i can get internet on my tunning laptop whenever im in town :y

Re: piggy back the internet?

Depending on the location, in a local town called Butler I can pull off most anywhere and pick up internet if I need to. Right by the library = tits, really good signal and they got a sweet ass connection. I'd hang out with friends and just let my lappy steal internet and download/upload torrents lol

trying the dd-wrt thing now. We'll see how this goes.
