pics of my b16 crx
I know they aren't rare and this one is no where near the cleanest but her are some pics anyway.
This is the car. It was kind of an impulse "I'm bored let's go take some pictures of the car," so i just pulled it out in the street.
Pic of the swap. Did all the wiring myself after someone else messed it up.
Hardcore fender damage from a front end collision before i got the car. Front end is all fuct up so to compensate for the gap between the headlights and corners, i push the fenders all the way back. The door hits it and crushes it in but i'm too lazy to fix it.
headlight/cornerlight gap... result of front end crash
I always have been more of an assman myself and i love the way these cars look from the back
Hasport mounts own. My motor doesn't move at all yet i don't get a shitload of vibration in the car either. The motor dropped right in. We didn't have to wiggle it or anything. It fit PERFECT.
My alternator went bad about a week after i got the swap in and i didn't have the $110 to shell out for a new alternator so a friend gave me an old d series he had layin around and i ghetto rigged it. It's the d series bracked bolted to the b series and then the alternator is bolted the b series. I had to shave the alternator where the screw goes and buy a slightly longer belt but it works perfectly.
I also modified my stock clutch cable to work to save money instead of buying an integra one. all you do is pull the adjuster back, cut off about 8 of those coils with a hack saw, put the adjuster back, adjust the cable and your done. It took me about 20 minutes.

Re: pics of my b16 crx
Yeah I've been rockin no hood for the past couple days. Background: one of the holes in the hood is striped so i drilled it through and zip-tied it. Story: While fixing my clutch cable, a friend leaned on the hood and broke the zip-ties so i said ---- it, just take the bitch off. I'm also runnin an integra axle on the passenger side and whatever axle came with the swap on the drivers side, coilovers in the front, but not in the back, and no sunroof. I have a piece of plexi cut but it is so damn hot here that i am procrastinating putting it in cause i don't wanna kill my airflow.
